In the evening and on weekends I immerse myself in my watercolors or in front of my computer with Photoshop and my wacom tablet -- painting fairies, elementals, goddesses, mermaids, spider sorceresses and whatever other fantastical images my muse desires. ^_^ During the day I enjoy a job as a graphic artist for a helicopter company.
Besides fantasy art, my other passion is Asian ball-jointed dolls. I currently own five Cerberus Project Delfs (Lishe, Tanning Lishe, Tanning El, Juri 2005 and Juri 2006) and one Souldoll (Asiter). I have done all the faceups on my dolls and offer aesthetic and modification services to other BJD owners. Please see my BJD page on my Cynnalia Fantasy Art website for details.
What little free time I have I spend reading (of course I love fantasy novels...Mercedes Lackey, Terry Pratchett, Mickey Zucker Reichert, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jim Butcher, R.A. Salvatore and Piers Anthony are among my favorite authors), playing video games (most notably RPGs such as the Final Fantasy series and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and FPSs like Tomb Raider), and watching movies. I don't watch much television, but I am hooked on Lost, Battlestar Galactica, The Office and Heroes and I enjoy the DVDs of Buffy, Angel and Firefly. Music-wise I like a rather eclectic variety, with movie scores being my favorite genre...Hans Zimmer is my all-time favorite composer.
I moved up to Southern Oregon in 1998 from my hometown of San Jose. It was the best decision I've ever made, besides the one three years ago that started me on the path of a fantasy artist. :)
